Should I buy this 1911? New to platform.
I have a Norinco model offered for $420 shipped that has all these features + a trip to the Nork gunsmith to tune, tighten, trigger job, rebluing. Comes with 1 mag, brush, and case. STI hammer, Videcki trigger, safety, extended beavertail.

sure why not? seems like a pretty fair deal for the price? I hear the Norinco frames are quite nice guns to build off of.

What "Nork gunsmith" would we be talking about? I don't know of any pistolsmith who works only on Norincos, so what makes some unnamed guy "the Nork gunsmith"?

I'd do it. Fair price and you can get your money back if you don't like it.

Here in Canada, there's a gunsmith who tunes Norincos, so a lot of people send their out of box guns to him for tuning, trigger jobs etc.
