Does anybody know where I can get some clear grips for a 1911 A1 style pistol?

If you mean clear so that you can see throught the stocks and look at the frame and magazine thru the grip cutout, I have no idea who, if anybody, is making such a grip. You could get some lucite or plexiglass and make your own by using the original stocks as a pattern.

I don't know if this will help but Brownells.com sells carbon fiber 1911 grips. They look pretty nice. Something different from the traditional grips.
