1903 Springfield under $200 (central Nebraska)

Saw one at Cabella's in Nebraska on my way across the country.

It was $150 or so, I think. Sporterized, parked. Barrel looked really worn at the muzzle.

Still, I was surprised to see one of these going for under $200.

Hope someone likes it!

Why do people feel the need to butcher a fine old gun like that?

usually happened back when they were widely and cheaply available and there was little collector interest.
