I have a Kahr P9 that locks the slide back often (10%-50% of the time, depending on the ammo) with both magazines. Any ideas on fixing that?

Oleg, there are usually 2 reasons for this. Either the bullet nose is coming into contact with the slide lock or the inertia of the recoil is causing it to engage. If it's the first, the fix is to relieve the inside part of the stop until the bullet nose no longer touches it. This area will be evident by brass or copper colored marks on the stop. If it is being caused by inertia, a detent needs to be cut into the end of the stop where it's plunger engages. George

Since I wouldn't know how to fix the gun (reason #2 sounds likely as ehavier bullets are more trouble), guess this P9 is going back to Kahr.
