Free to a good home

When wss at the range today I picked up some .45 Colt cases off the ground. Only 16 but I couldn't leave them laying there. If you could use them, speak up and I'll drop them in the mail to you. Would prefer someone starting out, but first to speak ip gets them.

I have more than enough .45 Colt cases, but it seems to me that you are suffering a distinct paucity of .45 Colt revolvers...

You need to keep the cases and find yourself a revolving solution to the problem...

If I do my wife would use me for target practice! And she's a good shot so I'm not going there. Lol

Perhaps we can set up a "brass exchange"? I'm always picking up range brass but I only reload .45. I'd be willing to trade.

Boy, the .45 Colt cartridge is one that you 'never' see laying around here . Every .45 Colt shooter always keeps his brass. From box to gun, and gun to box! Now 9mm or .40 you see a lot of as people don't spend the time to retrieve their mess. .45 ACP gets picked up too... except for the small primer stuff that nobody can stand.

And as above .. you really do need a .45 Colt SA revolver .

.45 Colt? Score!! I remember a time when I was at the indoor range. For whatever reason, I was the only person on the line at the time. I walked in and looked down on the floor, like always, and I saw some big revolver cases lying there. I figured that they were .44 Mag, which is treasure enough, but when I turned them over and looked at the headstamp, I saw .45 Colt.

I scurried around and quickly picked up almost 50 once fired .45 Colt cases! My day was already made without having fired a shot.

Keep that .45 Colt revolver idea in the back of your head when your wife is more amenable...then you can keep the cases if you're that lucky again.

Re: Free to a good home

I'm in need of 223/5.56, but unfortunately have little to offer.
I have a small amount of .40 and a few rounds of oddballs:
35 of 45 Colt
25 of 38 Special
27 of 357 Mag

Good thread! .308 cases

I have 40 or so .308 military cases.

They are once fired, still have the military crimp, unsized.

I would send them to someone for the shipping costs.

PM me.
