New to the area

Hey all,

I just moved to the Navarre, Fl area about a week ago and I'm going to try my hand at hunting on Eglin this year as it is a bit late to try and join a club I think. I'll be hunting with a shotgun so no bow hunting for me as of right now. I was thinking about trying my luck over on Roberts Pond and maybe Choctaw West and I was wondering if it is possible to get up RR 253 in my car. I was out driving around on RR 668 today making my way over to 253 but it got dark on me and decided to wait until daylight to try and make the trip. From what I can see on the google map it looks like I should be able to drive through there fairly well but I didn't make it to RR 253 and I would rather not get stuck lol. Additionally, are there any car accessible places over in Choctaw West? Any help that could be provided is greatly appreciated.
