45lc and H4227 powder

I was looking at Hodgdons reloading site, and for ruger only loads, they list H4227 for all bullet gr's except 250. That seems odd.
Edit. All but the 260 gr bullets, they do list for 250

Just means they didn't test with a 260. Could be they didn't have any on the day of the test or decided 250 was close enough or that a 260 was an odd size.

Just go with the 250g loads for the 260 if the bullet shapes are the same. Don't of course if you are looking at a Full Wadcutter 260g vs a semi-wadcutter . I use the same loads for my 250g RN and 255g SWC for example no problem. My favorite load is 20g 4227 under the bullet. That said, I didn't think they even made H-4227 any more. Seems like IMR 4227 is the only one left.

R Clark, what kind of velocities do you get, and from what barrel length, with the 20.0/IMR-4227/250-260gr. loads? I'm curious because I'm working up this combination for my 7.5" Redhawk.
