357 Magnum Magtech in 95grain
Does anybody have any information on the expansion diameter (approx) of a JHP copper .357 magnum in 95 gr. ?
I have seen such a copper ammo from Magtech in a gunshop near our place which sells at a fair price. But (so i've heard many times over) that a 125 gr. .357 magnum is a proven stopper because of its penetration and expansion. So how about a copper made JHP in 95 grain? thanks for any insight. Happy & safe shootin!

95 gr magtech
I have come across some info on this ammo by googling Terminal 357 magnum. It linked me to a sight www.stevespages.com/page8f357magnum.html.It shows this bullet at a 3" pistol mv 1356 and a rifle mv at 2264.Expansion was .592 for the pistol and .630 for the rifle.Penetration was 6 layers of denim and 21 inches of water for the pistol and 6 layers and 17 inches of water for the rifle. The sight also shows performances of other 357 mag loads. Its good stuff, enjoy.MidwayUSA has this as loaded ammo or as a reloading component.
