std vs. mag primer question
I picked up a box of mag primers by accident and probably can't return them. My usual plinking load is 8 or 9 gr of Unique with a 240 hardcast bullet out of a 629. Any potential problem using those mag primers? Thanks

accuracy
My preferred primer for my 44 / 240g load (using 7.3g Universal for 873fps from my 5.5" Redhawk) is the CCI350.
I most highly recommmend avoiding maximum loads without working up first, but the use of those magnum primers should cause no undue stresses.
