"War Machyne" British Cannons
A spectacular show:
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cx1pb4tb6Lw Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlsULMBBO5A Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4wtCDbKm-I The section about cannons starts a ways into Part 1. I particularly like the part about Ralph Hogg, illiterate peasant of Buxted, Sussex casting the first large iron cannon. In parts 2 and 3 they make and test-fire an iron cannon. Great entertainment.
