What kind of extra upper do you like for your AR15 and why?

458 Socom
300 whisper
300 blackout
6.8 SPC

I like them all for different reasons. Which do you prefer and why?

Right now I only have a 556 and a 300 blackout. 556 is for plunking fun mostly. 300blk is for fun shooting suppressed. I use the 556 a lot more.

I do want to get a 458 socom or a 50 Beowulf at some point just for big bore fun. Wouldnt shoot it often but be fun to do from time to time. It's just in spot 7 or so of guns to buy right now

The next varmint rifle will be a 6mm HAGAR... just because I really like a fast 6mm that will fit an AR15 magazine.

I've had a separate 300BLK AR, but sold it since i was not getting the suppressor I couldn't afford. Lol.

But i'd go with the 50Beowulf or 22lr uppers

9mm, 22lr, 300blk, then I would probably look for something that gave me 22-250ish trajectory.
