Need a Rifle Range in GA...

And it can't be too far from the 'burbs of Atlanta. I'm 30 minutes or so North of Atlanta, and I'm looking for a range with a suitable... range... for sighting in and practicing for hunting season. Most of the public ones close to me are 25yrds, indoor. I'd rather go to a public one to keep costs down. Searching online I can only find ranges with 25yrds + way out in the north or south of Georgia. Can't really drive 1hr 40min to shoot for an hour.

Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. Either way, help is appreciated.

Check on the Ga. DNR site. They have outdoor ranges on Management Areas.
May be one near you.
The ones I have seen have 50 yd. and 100 yd. ranges to shoot on.
If you find one nearby, take your own target stands to shoot as they are bare ranges.
