S&W 617 .22LR 10 shot

It's very difficult to extract the fired casings from this cyclinder. Unfired cartridges will slide out easily. Once fired the cases must expand in the cyclinder because they are impossible to eject one handed. All ten chambers hold tight to fired cases and will release unfired cartridges easily. Should I polish each chamber? If so I'd appreciate guidence on how best to do that.

I don't see how polishing would hurt. Just don't get too aggressive with the polishing compound.
