loading 357 maximum/supermag with extruded stick powders

I have read that extruded stick powders does not cause top-strap cutting and forcing cone erosion like ball powders do(especially W296/H110).

Does anyone have any good loads that are precise out to 200 yards form a Dan Wesson mod 40 Supermag with a 8" barrel ?

I am thinking of using these bullets:

I wish I could help, but this is the first time I've ever used the words "precise", "200 yards", and "revolver" all in the same sentence.

Thanks for the opportunity!

I think I have some loads using 3031... but it's been a while since I loaded those, & I've not updated my computer based load manual for that cartridge yet ( & I'm at work right now )...

BTW... I have some cartridges loaded with bullets that look just like that ( copper plated 200 grain ) I wouldn't use them for hunting... if I remember correctly they are brittle... work fine for paper punching though...

LMAO @ Sport45!

I've seen some IHMSA revolver shooters shoot out to 200, but "precise" ... I dunno! *chuckle*

EDIT: On the other hand, IHMSA shooters David Bradshaw and Lon Pennington both recorded 5 shot groups of 3 inches at 200 meters with the .357 Maximum, and ... if I'm not mistaken with this same model of revolver.

BTW, Visaman, an old Nosler book shows some 4227 loads for the Nosler 180 gr .357 silhouette bullet, but they are from an H&S Precision test barrel, if you are interested.

I have also Dan Wesson .40 V8S and T/C Contender 14" Bullbarrel .357 Supermag /Remington Maximum.
Pistolhunting is illegal also in my countru. There is Redfield Five Golden Star 4x pistoscope on my T/C. I keep shooting with it some times at 300m / over 300yards.
My powder is VihtaVuori N-110. I use Hornady HP XTP 158- and 180gr bullets and also Archipelago resitzed copperpladet castbullets. N-110 is clean- and not so hot burnin powder.
The strap cutting is stronger, if you use 125gr bullet like high speed with you revolver. With T/C it is ok.
My target load for T/C Hornady HP XTP 158gr VihtaVuori N-110 21gr 2145 fps.
