Up Coming Gun Show

Alright guys, lets just say you have roughly $600.00 and a gun show is a couple days away. What are you looking for?

Buzzcook, have you been reading my other posts? I was just talking about finding a 686-3 in 4" at a pawn shop the other day. I should have picked it up then, maybe I'll go back before thee show. I like the way you think.

I look for things I cannot live without, I have no idea what they will be untill I see them, and things that are priced way to cheap.

I'm planning a Saiga in 7.62 with the conversion kit.

I was thinking about the WASR but I have heard and seen too many examples of issues. Please understand I am not dismissing them all, just don't want to risk it.

I'd skip the show and buy from a store. Here in mid- FLA the folks at the shows are EXTREMELY PROUD of there guns for sale and the prices reflect that

Nov 12-13 in Tulsa, Oklahoma,,,

The Wanenmachers gun show,,,
It's so dang big I've never seen it all.

I go with several hundred bucks just looking for that oddity,,,
A few years back I picked up a 1892 Lebel 8mm pistol,,,
Gave it to a friend who had admired mine,,,
Got it for $75.00

I go for the stuff you never see in stores,,,
Such as accessories, doo-dads, and holsters.

I usually carry a small sign that says clearly what I am looking for,,,
Such as "WTB H&R rimfire pistols" or "WTB S&W Model 43".

You would be surprised how many people have stuff,,,
But don't lay it out on their sales table.

But mainly I go to experience a total immersion in guns and gun stuff.

Nothing like the smell of Hoppe's #9 in the air.
