What countries besides the following issued or allowed the 1911 for teh military?
England Canada Russia Mexico Cuba Viet Nam Fermosa Argentina Norway WWII Germany (see Norway) Guatamala During WWI and WWII, what holsters did the British use for their 1911's? US or their own? In this research I could not find any additional countries which issued the 1911, however, many were picked up from the battle field, along with ammunition and used against us. As to the holsters, I have no source to search for this ans. and I don't have it in the library. HJN |

I would suggest that the Republic of Korea be included.
