Best book

There are many books on "stopping power" out there and I want to know which is the best to read. I've seen many books by marshall+snow (i think thats his last name, cant remember exactly ) but heard that they have little authority on the subject. Anyone recommend a source, book or internet publishing, that gives good info on what bullets have performed the best, stopping power in general, and how to survive a gunfight.
thanks

It's Evan Marshall and Ed Sanow if I am not mistaken. Yes their work is controversial.

You can check out Evan Marshall at StoppingPower.net and you can check out their detractors at TacticalForums.com

"Sharpening the Warrior's Edge"
Great book for gunfighting, and handling stressful encounters
