Just curious...

I just went to edit a message I posteda couple of weeks ago, and got a message that I can only edit one of my messages for 4,320 minutes (72 hours) after posting.

Just curious as to why?

One thought....
If an older post is edited and the thread comes back up...
Responses to the original version of the post could look really strange.

Kinda sorta like Denny editing an editorial in SWAT after receiving a few letters to the editor.

One workaround could be to put the altered version in sequence as a new post.

Sam

Edited to add...
What Rich said in a couple words while I was typing.

Re-edited to correct....couple words should read four words.

Wow!

Can we save this thread? Get it bronzed or something?

Someone else was more concise than C.R. Sam! Unheard of!

My thoughts exactly, pax! Maybe we should lock this thread for 72 hours and then unlock it - if only for the integrity of that particular post.

With apologies to Dr. Suess...

(C. R.) Sam I am...

And I have been slammed.

Have I been slammed in a can?

Or have I been slammed with spam?

I was slammed....

And my slammer ran.

(C. R.) Sam I am...

And I have been slammed.

C.R.Sam...

"Ran out of magazines."

The reading kind or the ammunition variety?
