whats the best load for a mossberg 500 for home defence

Reduced recoil 00 buckshot works very well.

thanks mete, but i have others in the house, is there a load that won't go thru 3 walls before it stops like maybe 4 buck or something in between those ?

ragwd,

i understand that over penetration is always an issure, but you want enough penetration to go through someone, if you cant penetrate walls very well, your load does not have much of a chnace of stopping a person.
