AR15 Rear BUIS needs updated. . .Ooops!

Right now, I have the ARMS 40L with 2 apertures on separate planes. I love it, but it doesn't fit under my new scope and mount. Anybody want it? Looks new. I would be willing to sell. . .not clear on a price, so PM me and I'll send pics if you have interest.

THE REAL QUESTION:

So, it looks like I need a rear BUIS for my 17" AR15 which folded is under .500". There are several to choose from and I would like to avoid crap. I'm looking for:
- under .500" folded
- large and small aperture with the ability to have the large aperture in use when flipped up
- I think I would like it to lock up
- Would like steel or aluminum
- No need for a fancy multiple range job, just a 50/300 zero is fine for my AR

Ideas?

I love my Samson Mfg rear sight. I'm not exactly sure on the folded height, but its not tall at all. It's one of the thinnest I've seen.

Have you looked at the MBUS PRO from Magpul?

Thanks. Looked at both of those. Is it hard to switch to the Magpul large peep?

Also looked at the Samson. I think I could like it, but it looks like that is I deploy with the large aperture as primary that the small one is in the way of my scope.

I'm trying to decide between the MI and the Troy. Does the MI spring up somehow? Would like that feature like my ARMS had.

The MBUS PRO is nice. It is very easy to switch to the large peep. It's thin and narrow, so it doesn't interfere with using the charging handle. I don't even need an extended latch style with my setup.

This is kind of a hard choice. . .I'm down to the Troy or the MBUS Pro.

The MBUS Pro won't deploy with the large peep and allow me to flip to the small peep. Since going to my BUIS requires removing a QD scope mount, I think I can assume I will have time to flip to the large peep or shoot shotgun style with the FR post only up close. I guess I'm saying this is a small worry. On the other side, this thing is so small, I can have room for scope caps!

The Troy is nice, but I see two personal issues. . .First, the locking up feature is nice, but I can see the sight banging into something and making it worthless. It is $20 more than the MBUS without adding value over it.

It I had my druters, I would be using the ARMS on both guns! I'm thinking about putting the MBUS on 2 rifles due to it's price and selling my ARMS 40L.

Mine deploys with the large peep and I can easily flip the small peep into place.

Can you explain this to me? I might be misunderstanding as I have not had hands on yet...

MBUS PRO rear sight deployed with large CQB aperture.
The entire sight can lay flat in this configuration with only the small aperture sticking up.
The small precision aperture is easily snapped up, and into place with your finger.

Thanks for the picture. I get it now, but the small aperture would be in my scope. Regardless, there are too many good things here to go with the Troy.

Even when the small peep is down like that, it doesn't stick up very much.

Mine fits under a Vortex PST scope mounted in a Burris PEPR mount, with the peep flipped down.
