Hornady Projector priming tubes
A few months back I bought a used Hornady Projector press off Ebay. When I bought it I know the priming system tubes were missing but I thought it would be no problem getting replacements. Boy, was I wrong. Does anyone know where these might be found? I called Hornady and they just said the brass tubes were no longer in production. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. This thread claims a conversion to the new priming system is possible, but not inexpensive. Call Hornady to ask?

Projector Priming Tubes
You are right and you are wrong...
The Projector tubes hold about 100 primers. It's priming system [1989 ventage] was so bad [Crushed Primers]that I bought an RCBS #09460 Bench Mounted priming system. If you want to try the Projector priming system Lyman and/or RCBS priming tubes will work. Last edited by MADISON; October 30, 2008 at 11:14 AM. |

I must be lucky - my Projector doesn't have priming issues and never had any.
