SWAT Ball caps & T-shirts?
I was just thinking about a new ball cap for the range, and of course, SWAT Mag came to mind . I hadn't gone to SWAT's online store before that I can recall, so I went there, thinking there may be some SWAT brag-ware .
There was nothing there, and I just did a search of this forum to see if anyone's suggested ball caps or t-shirts and the like before. I was amazed! Nothing! I would think ball caps and t-shirts with the SWAT Mag logo, or something similar, would sell like hotcakes, not to mention them being good advertising. So, how 'bout it? Any new lines of clothing in SWAT's future?

Well, lemme let you guys in on our Dirty Little Secret. The entire SWAT Worldwide Headquarters consists of 300 sq ft of oceanfront office space and houses....Me.
That's right. Except for one part time helper all of the admin of SWAT, including filling Back Issues, is done by me. Guess who would get to organize, inventory and ship all that wonderful gear? Me, that's who! Now I know you're saying, "Hey, SWAT's a worldwide newsstand publication. Surely they have secretaries, book keepers, assistants and the like." Nope. Is this any way to run a business? Our competition seems to think so; I know of at least one larger gun mag that has adopted some of our practices since scoffing at the concept in 2001. So, no....please, no gear; unless, of course, you have ideas for a third party company that would create, warehouse and ship the items in question. Rich

Seriously, that just ups my respect for what you've been able to accomplish, Rich. No problem; I have a plain ball cap, a magic marker, and SWAT is spelled.... .

We have a pretty good company where I live http://www.cottoncargoonline.com/ I have been affiliated with several groups that have purchased stuff from them. They do Caps and Hats. The problem would be getting who would be willing to order them and some sample artwork to give them. By having the number willing to order them I could get a price breakdown. The prices would be at cost + shipping. The more we order the less the price. Then we would need Rich's permission to reproduce the artwork.

Eghad-
More on this after SHOT. One of our guys has an idea for it. If we were to do this, it would have to be a permanent fixture of our online store. Periodic buys are a real manpower hassle. Rich
