I think this type of stage (with penalty) would have validity.

I think when we shoot at static targets,,,
We don't really think too much about when we miss.

Basically we say "Oh well." and go on shooting,,,
But when a miss has a catastrophic effect,,,
It tends to make one pay attention.

I googles "hostage targets" and got these results,,,
Apparently someone else thinks it's a worthwhile scenario.

This exercise CAN be done with paper B-27 targets. Fold the targets so that the "heads" are aligned the way you want them.

We used to do this in tactical training.
