Service Rifle: 1x8 or 1x9 Twist

What would be your choice for twist rate on a service match rifle? 1x8 or 1x9? Thanks

So as to handle 80 grain bullets for 600 yards.

Since you only gave the 8 or 9 twist barrel as a choice, I would also say 8, and that should work fine for you.

For Service Rifle the 7 twist is by far the most used in competition.
