I don't know if you'll be going anywhere near Louisville . . . but if you are, there is a fantastic arms museum right across the street from the Louisville slugger bat factory (baseball bats). Unfortunately, I don't have the address nor the name but if I remember correctly, it is three stories. My cousin took us there a few years ago and they have great displays of firearms and weapons of all ages. It is we'll worth the stop but plan on spending a half a day at least. Unfortunately, I don't have the name of the museum but if you contacted the Louisville chamber of commerce and told them it is across from the bat factory, they'll be able to give you the name and address. Beautiful displays and anyone with an interest in old firearms/weapons or history would greatly enjoy it.

You could visit the NMLRA National Range in Friendship Indiana. I just left there
3 weeks ago.

And Memphis is way up there on the list of dangerous cities !!
Of course when you get tired of looking at guns there must be some good music stuff to see/hear.

Frazier is the name of the Museum with gonnes in Louisville.

The Tennessee State Miseum in Nashville has a lot of earlier and Civil War guns. It's down the street and toward the river from the Capitol building. The TN state War Museum is nearby and also worth seeing. I also like Andrew Jackson's home, The Hermitage. If you want to go to Franklin and Murfreesboro, those are two Civil War battlefields.

In Indianapolis the Civil War Museum and their War Memorial are worth visiting.

There's a guns & ammo store in memphis that's worth visiting.

There's a very nice range USA in Memphis. They have an mp5 fully auto suppressed and glock 17 converted to full auto for rent if you like to burn through ammo money .

Dixie Gun Works

Is in Union City, TN. Center of state.

There is a good mom and pop pizza joint downtown.

I should also add two Civil War sites:

Fort Donelson in NW Tennessee and Shiloh in SW Tennessee.

Graceland!

No trip to Memphis would be complete without a trip to Graceland to check out some of the King's hardware and his personal shooting range.

If I might add a correction, Union City, TN, is in NW corner of the state. Near Reelfoot Lake.

US Hwy. 51 runs south from Union City to Memphis, with gunshops along the way.
