AR question
The guys at work with AR's are pestering me to build one. If I do, I want an upper in 6.5 grendel. Is there anyone other than Alexander Arms that makes a 6.5 grendel upper and sells it less than Alexander does?
Also, would it be possible/economical to get a 5.56 upper and use a chamber reamer to bring it up to the 6.5 grendel? Thanks -Donald

Rumor has it CSS (Competition Shooting Sports) also manufacturs the 6.5 Grendel uppers, but if you look at their site, you will see a listing for AA uppers. They do, however, sell them for about $15 less than going direct through Alexander Arms.
Arne Brennan of CSS is an industry partner at ar15.com. It could be worth your time to contact him directly regarding any questions you may have. You can also find uppers and ammo through SSK Industries. Link Last but not least.... AR15.com - 6.5 Grendel FAQ EDIT: Almost forgot about Midway USA

Just FYI, you cannot just use a chamber reamer on a 5.56 to change it to 6.5 caliber. It involves changing the barrel to a 6.5 mm (.264") barrel.
