Bird hunting!

Me and my cousin are going bird hunting tommorow for partridge and phesent. Ill be bringin my 12 gauge mossy and the 10/22 for them squirles. But why do the birds never seem to be there when you got guns?!?!?!?! I see them all the time on the road but never when I got a gun. And I dont go on phesent preserves thats cheating they raise the birds to shoot them

Wish me luck tho i will go none the less and ill let you all know how I do. Probly be empty handed but its better than a day at work haha
