options for mounting red dot to 1911?

Looking for different options to mount a C-more red dot on a 1911 WITHOUT drilling and tapping? Seen the grip mount from Aimtech that replaces the right grip panel...anyone used these? Also seen pics of some that replace the left grip panel but can't seem to find the company that makes them. Anyone know about these? Which would be the better option? Thanks

I had one similar to this and if I remember right it did scuff the frame a little where it touched. It did seem solid though. Mark

That Aimtech mount looks like a good idea, although I dislike the idea of losing one of my grips to it. Also, it can be had from Impact Guns for considerably less:

B-square mount

B-square offers a mount for about $50.00 that fits the 1911 and uses the slide stop pin to hold it in place. It gives you a weaver rail to mount whatever you like to it. Part # 42533 Leaves the grips free.

10mm man- You've used this mount? If so, how does it hold up? Reviews on MidwayUSA are mixed. Thanks.

b-square

I have not used this mount although I have researched the subject. I haven't read any reviews for it but I gather that because it mounts to the frame rather than the slide, it should be a more stable mount. Any others? Frame vs. slide mounts?
