SKB barrels interchangeable?

I have opportunity to buy a SKB 300 semiauto online. I have a SKB 900. Will the barrels interchange?

I have posted this on several forums and have received no reply. I hope the members of this forum are more knowledgeable.

The difference between the 300 and the 900 is mainly cosmetics. The barrels should interchange. However if one is the XL, the barrels won't change. The 300 and 900 are recoil operated while the XL is gas operated.

Edit:
I just read in another forum that the barrels for the 300 and 900 are not interchangeable. But as I recall, the only difference between the 2 models was the 900 had better wood and finish, and the receiver was engraved, and the barrel had a vent rib.

You might want to check with SKB and see if they know:
