Problems with Magazine size
I just purchased a used CZ 75 & it shoots great so far. It only came with one magazine so I purchased a couple og ProMag 9mm mags from one of the large suppliers & the mags fit ay too tight. the last 1/2 " is horrible and I need to pry them out with a screwdiveer. Anybody have any advice or another brand that might work beter?. I know that sometimes you can have trouble with the mag in the FTF/FTB department but, I didn't know that one made for your model gun might not fit. Thanks for any help for this newbie.

I'd buy the mags produced by the manufacturer. That way you know they'll work.

smokjunkee, try the Mec-Gar, great mags. The Promags seem to be hit or miss. http://www.cdnninvestments.com/cz.html

The 16 round 9mm mags from CZ cost $37.00 each; the CDNN Mec-Gars cost $18.99 each. Order one of the Mec-Gars and try it out; if it works perfectly, buy a bunch more. If it doesn't work, spend the money to buy more from CZ.
Mec-Gar makes a pretty good mag. Edited to add: does (or did) Mec-Gar make the mags for CZ?!? If so, then I'd certainly buy them from CDNN. |

I have two factory mags for my CZ 75 and two Mec-Gar mags and they both function exactly the same. The factory mags appear to made by Mec-Gar.
