7mm Express Remington brass

Picked up some old ~1979, 7mm Express Remington ammunition real cheap. I figured I would shoot one of the boxes and use the brass to reload my new .280rem. Is brass that is this old ok to reload? It looks fine, some are a little tarnished. Or, should I save this ammo as a collectors item?

That ammo should be perfectly safe to fire, but you do bring up the point of it's potential as collector stuff down the road. Certainly something to consider. Remongton sure won't be headstamping any more as 7MM Express Remington.
.280 Rem. ain't that expensive to buy. I think that if it were me, I'd stash it away and see what happens.
