WV, nothing wrong at all except the price and condition. Just not worth what they were asking.

My carry Browning MkIII bought for $600 in '09 and reworked by OttoComp.
Straight 8 sights, C&S thumb safety, mag safety removed, VZ thin grips, 5lb trigger, and slight hammer spur reduction. (One of the) Greatest 9mils ever made. Wait for a decent deal as they are out there. Regards, Lucky

This is like photos from a beauty contest. Keep 'em coming. What a beautiful gun.
Is there a thread/list anywhere of the world's greatest-looking guns? |

Mine is not as old, unfired or well... special as some of the earlier posts. But, for a 1980 model that has been through Cylinder and Slide, it's a keeper as far as I'm concerned.
But, I do have more pics...

JMB's Work of Art
While there is nothing like owning a true iconic Browning Hi Power, they are too expensive for me (new) and would require tons of research and inspection to acquire a used one (which is perfectly fine if you so desire).
I wound up going with an Arcus 94 which is very much aestectically like John Moses Browning's masterpiece but not even close to the origianl outside of looks (it will, however, accept Hi Power mags). The Arcus 98 is the new version of this (only difference I'm aware of is the 98 is DA). The Arcus 98 is the official sidearm of the Bulgarian police force and is now also the primary side-arm of the Iraqi Army via a huge contract. While I adore my 92, I agree that there is nothing quite like a Hi Power. Just my two pennies as they say .

That's a fine looking C&S Browning! Here's the right side of my OttoComp and the 2nd pic is me teaching a carbine course, BHP in hand. While it's Glocks, SR9s, and XDs for everyone else, I prefer steel. Regards, Lucky

I am a huge BHP fan as well. My MK III BHP is my most accurate centerfire pistol. I really would like to get a C series with the beer can adjustable sight.

BHP
Just to prove I have nothing against the "assembled in Portugal" versions I ended up buying one. Condition was important to me and I could not find a "C" or "T" model in my budget that wasn't scratched all to pieces or had some other issue. So I took a chance on this one, described as 97%. Its a 1988 model. Feedback welcomed.
