any interest in 1000yd range in northern New England
just trying to get a feel if there is much interest in a 1000yd range. This would be located in Maine, I have heard that the last one is in New York. The idea would be a club with membership, Military and Law enforcement uses, and annual shoots to generate some revenue. We currently run a club with 50, 100, & 200 yd ranges, and thought it would be fun to have a 1000yd.
We need some feedback before we go any further with this idea. |

You build it, and they will come.
Go to www.snipershide.com and post that question on the BEYONE 1000 YARDS section, you'll get lots of takers. I love 1000 yard matches, but NE is a bit far for me to drive since we have several 1000 yard ranges here.

1000 yard range
Maine has a couple 600 yard ranges, have you tried that distance yet? Check out Scarborough Fish & Game and Hampden Rifle & Pistol Club (Maybe others). I don't shoot high power myself/long range myself.
