new reloader needing exp.
I have access to Trail Boss and Clays, im loading 45 Colt,
for cowboy action shooting. 170 gr lead, Federal primers, R-P shells. How many grains of either powder for a light to medium load please. I have looked at Hodgdon tables, but would like to hear from exp. shooters. |

Best advise would be to follow the book, start low ( min load ) and work up until you find what shoots best in your firearm. For what you are looking for would be a lite load that is acurate, less recoil and easy to shoot.
