Great Opening Weekend

Well all Saturday was opening day here in Bama and I got me a nice Doe with my new Remington M700 BDL .30-06 (about 30 yard shot) she was 105# live and 73# dressed (good eatin)

Well then I went out on Sunday and got the BIG Boy 11 point (about 225 yard shot) he was 150# live and 130# dressed. (will be mounting him) I am so excited as this is only my 5th time ever going deer hunting.

I am going hunting again on Thursday on another friend's land.

Nice deer, Wood! I always like seeing how the deer are different in different parts of the country. The deer in Nebraska have more white on their faces.

Glad you like your Remington, too. The BDL is a nice gun.
