Smoothbore Slugster Versatility?
Many years ago I was given an 18.5" smooth slugster bbl for my old Mossy "New Haven". I dug the thing out last night & was wondering if shot/buckshot could be run through it as a CQ gun. Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Shot/buckshot shouldn't hurt it. I am not too familiar with the "smooth slugster" barrel, but I know rifle barrels are reported to give weird patterns with shot/buckshot.

If it's a smoothbore, it'll do well. Rifled bbls do poorly with any kind of shot.

Thank you gentlemen
After fooling with handguns almost exclusively for the last ten years, I'm looking forward to taking up the shotgun again.
