burgo .22 model 66

i'm having a problem with the trigger mechanism on my burgo .22 short model 66. i took the screw that holds the triiger in place out. put the screw back in & now the trigger wont pop back into place after you squeeze it, also the hammer cocks back but wont stay in place. can anybody help me? i know its a cheap gun but has sentimental value.

When you removed that screw you allowed the trigger to move enough to disengage from the trigger return spring, then you didn't get it back in properly to engage the hammer.

The only thing you can do without paying a gunsmith a lot more than the gun is worth is to take the gun down again and figure out how things go back together.
