Go to the source

Guys, there are answers to all these questions and they are NOT in Adler's book. Go to the source of Adler's information. The only book needed for
2nd & 3rd Generation Colts is Dennis Russell's book, "Percussion Colt Revolvers, The Second Generation Collector's Handbook & Price Guide #6"

Also, to spice up this conversation, lets not forget the parts that Armi San Marco also provided for the 2nd Generation Colts!!!!
