Go to handloads.com... there are at least 45 .22-250 loads listed, with accuracy notes on each.

Don't forget to read the disclaimer at the bottom of the page.

Cheers,
C

I've had good luck with imr4064 and accurate 2230. 4350 is probably a bit slow for 22/250. Of the two, I'd start with 3031.

I run varget with a 50 gr. v-max in my howa with great results. My buddy also runs varget in his with a 40 gr. v-max and it shoots great. Both his and my rifle have 1 in 12 twist.

IMR4064 is what I use. Great velocity and case fill in the 22-250Rem.

with varget and a 50 gr. v-max I use 36.4 gr. of powder. Now in the hornady manual this load is a MAXIMUM LOAD. so start lower and work your way up to max. Every firearm is different and this load may be to hot for your rifle, and it may not be. My howa shows no signs of pressure and is a tack driver.
