Mec-gar plus 2 adapter Thread

I thought it might be helpful to list the various Guns/mags that this little gem will work on. The manufacturer website states that this adapter, model # F42099. http://www.mec-gar.com/Magazines/Accessories/F42099. Will only work on certain Sigs, beretta, Taurus and CZ's. However after trying them out on some other Mags/Guns I have discovered they do in fact fit and function on several other models. 1. M&P 9c 2. M&P .357 sig full size ( should fit the full size 40 as well) 3. Tri-Star T-120 (canik 55 full size) these come with mec-gar mags. 4. 5906 TSW with 17 round mec-gar mag. This application did require minor fitting. Just have to take about 2-3 mm's off the top surface of the adapter. 5-10 min of sanding, fits perfect. I' m guessing this adapter will fit most 9mm/40 mec-gar double stack mags. . Please post any other succesful applications.

Thanks for the link. Is anything else necessary to successfully modify the magazines (new springs too perhaps)?

The tiny bit of extra length doesn't seem to matter, the stock springs work fine. Once you see how it slides in The installation is super easy, check this. Out. http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=91220 the angled spring locator wraps around at the bottom/backside of the mag and locks it in place. Then to dissasemble to clean or service the mag, pull up on the exposed section of the spring locater and slide the base plate off.
