Generally, I find females are rather difficult to conceal. I've yet to find a holster that would allow me to carry one, without
showing.

Some of Ya Are Needin' Cold Showers, For Sure

C'mon now, pilgrims. Looks like several of ya must have just taken your Viagra, or something.

OK, I'm thinking that, male or female, CCW is a serious endeavor and if she's going to do it she needs to consider that in her dress style. Like someone's already mentioned comfort/style takes a back seat to being adequately protected with an effective CCW. Tell her to suck it up and dress to the gun...gotta set your priorties in the correct order.

Looking at the attached photo of the leg pistol (holster)...

What keeps it from sliding down her leg?

Now it can...

Sorry I've left this unattended for so long. Odessa is right, some of you need to go take a cold shower .

We do realize that there will have to be concessions made to conceal the pistol, but in order for her to actually carry she will have to find a way that is comfortable and not totally disruptive of her current wardrobe. I'm thinking a high-ride OWB, and possibly a shoulder holster.
Thanks to those female-types that chimed in, it's nice to hear from someone who has aready been through this dilemma.

Quick horror story from San Mateo County, Kali.
Lady, who has changed names, and moved to avoid a stalker, with CCW permit, leaves purse in Safeway, with gun in it. Police are called, woman is prosecuted. Turns out her CCW had expired, so, she now has no gun, is plastered all over the front of the papers,on the news, and, stalker now knows where she is.

On top of that, unless the DA dismisses, she'll be on probation for three years, which means no firearms, and,
I'm sure that's comforting to her stalker.

In short, ANY FORM OF CARRY THAT GIVES THE LEAST CHANCE OF THE ARM BEING LEFT BEHIND, IS A NO NO.

My girlfriend can't remember her cell phone or keys, and, in times of real stress, I have a hard time remembering the things I really need. It is possible to forget your gun, if it's not on your person.

Thunderwear is an excellent choice, and, depending on how she wants to dress, is going to depend on what kind of firearm she carries.

Beretta 950 22 short is better then a sharp stick, if you have it when you need it.

Big thing that glares at me in #27. Finger off the trigger until you're ready to fire. My kids know better than that.

We were looking at holsters last night, she found a Ross H4S(IIRC) OWB that she liked. She also thinks that a shoulder holster, as suggested by womensholsters.com, is an attractive option.

Mom was a flapper. She used to carry hers in an ankle holster, adapted for upper thigh, with a waistband for security.

One night, she was dancing with the local US Marshal, when things broke loose and her BHP slid down her leg and landed on the Marshal's foot. He scooped it up and continued on jitter-bugging. When they returned to the table, he laid the piece on the table and, tipping his head toward Dad, he made a crack about how he'd better not tell the husband how he got her gun. She smiled up at him and batted her eyelashes as only she could do, and said, "Oh, don't worry about him. He's a Quaker. I'm the one you have to worry about."
