For 45ACP I'm partial to W231. as always check your manual start at the starting value and work up. As I hint to proper feeding I suggest you make a dummy round with your choice of brass and bullet. Remove the barrel from your auto and use it as a gauge. make the cartridge rather long. drop it in the chamber then progressively make the round shorter until it just fits properly. this should give you error free feeding and better accuracy when you find the powder charge that is just right for your pistol and you. Naturally ou will need to do this every time you change to a different bullet but should remain true as long as you stay with the same bullet from the same mfg. change bullet style or mfg and it's back to the biginning.

I like Titegroup for .45.
Fairly clean and not too hard on the pocket. |

I've recently shot Titegroup and HP38 (same as W231) using 230FMJ.
I much prefer the HP38 over the Titegroup in terms of felt recoil. Titegroup does appear to burn cleaner and you do use less powder as Remshooter stated. HOWEVER, I would choose a powder that fills the case more because you can tell if you double charged easier. Once you get into reloading more and have a feel of things, then I'd move to other powders that may not fill the case as well. Just a safety tip... I know you stated you have 200gr bullets, but I experienced the same in 185gr, too. Glad to see yet another new reloader in this world...brings a tear to my eye....
