NRA Action Pistol Matches?

I'm in central, southern Illinois.

In years past, I used to shoot NRA Action Pistol.

Shot in the Bianchi Cup many times.

Been "WAY" out of touch with anyone from the NRA Action shooting community.

My question, are there any NRA Action matches still going on and are there any left in the Illinois/Indiana area?

Just because you asked, the Bianchi Cup action pistol match has moved from Illinois to Missouri.
Still not too far, though.

g.willikers,

Yes sir, I've shot the Cup many times in Columbia. Mo./Hallsville, Mo. in years past.

To my knowledge, the Bianchi was never held in Illinois.

I have shot N.R.A. Action Ill. state reginals in Kankakee, Il., and monthly matches in Carterville,Il., also used to shoot monthly matches in Brookston, Ind. and Winamac, Ind. and a few of the monthly matches that were held in Eastern Mo.
But to my knowledge those matches are no longer being held.

I'm just wondering "if" there are any matches still being held anywhere in the Ill., Ind., Eastern Mo., area?

Weren't they once held in Berry, Ill?
Or was that the USPSA Nationals?
Anyhow, you can subscribe to the Shooting Sports USA digital magazine that lists a lot of NRA matches around the country.
http://www.nrapublications.org/ssusa/
Or you can switch to IDPA or USPSA matches.
Lots more of them around with a similar flavor.
Or check out the USPSA and IDPA local clubs for your area, that are listed at their respective web sites.
Some of them might very well also have NRA AP matches on their calendar.

Guess I'll keep tryin' IPSC and IDPA.......

How about P.P.C. matches?

Are they done too?
