Jericho 941 Baby Eagle trade?

A guy is wanting to trade me a Springfield XD40, two mags, $50 190 lumen light , Galco and Blackhawk holsters for my baby eagle. . Not sure if I should do the trade or not. I do like the jericho 941, but accessories are hard to come by. Do the CZ. Holsters and mags work?
Would this be a good trade? I think I like the hammer with decocker vs the striker fire too.
Here's my .40 cal polymer eagle and is like new with only 24 Rnds fired. Please help me decide by talking me into or out of this trade.

I say do it. Then Look for a Jericho that's all steel. The poly versions don't get the full Monty

IMHO, if the Jericho 941 was in the original 9mmAE/.41AE cal. i would say trade and don't look back, but if you really want it then trade for it, but if it was me i would pass on it.

Jericho 941 Baby Eagle trade?

I've seen the XD40's used as low as $300 but not the baby eagles. I realize this XD. Comes with light and two holsters but I'm still torn about trading. Normally I would just buy the XD. And keep the eagle, but money is tight and can't now. Should I flip s coin or just forget till later?
Here's a pic of the XD

I'd keep the Baby in the family.

I believe the XD's have a slightly higher bore axis than most striker fired pistols, and I don't believe they offer anything over what you have now.

Plus, hammer fired pistols are just cooler.

Thanks soilwork. I just texted him and told him I was getting cold feet and going to hold off for now.

I wouldn't do it, but that's me. I don't really care about the XD line, they aren't all that interesting.

Jericho 941 Baby Eagle trade?

Hey Wreck-N-Crew, yes neighbor I'm in Dayton area right now. I had put the jericho on AL because I didn't care for the safety along with three other rifles. I was in a little $ crunch and get a wild hair and do stuff like that sometimes. Whichever one sells first , I take the others off. Even though I'm not found of a slide mounted safety / decocker , its just a nice looking, great feeling pistol. I'm going to take it off anyway and leave the rifles, which I have duplicates of
Thanks NJ. I figured I could always get a used XD anytime later-for around $300

Don't do it

I have a poly Baby Eagle (Jericho) in 9mm and while the trigger on mine might be awful, I LOVE that little gun. At some point I will try to have the trigger reworked by a good smith, and at some point I will also buy a steel version.

XD's are fine guns but they are a dime-a-dozen. You don't see Jericho's/Baby Eagles's too often. I wouldn't part with mine!

Been there done that. Hope things get better for you.

I looked at that particular gun a few times. That's actually the first Baby Eagle 40 S&W I have seen. Nice looking gun.

Maybe see you around some time Gary. Shoot at a few ranges around here. Take care and thanks for sharing

Jericho 941 Baby Eagle trade?

Thanks Wteck-n-crew. I've decided to keep it. I usually shoot at a farm, but also go to Miami valley range, vandalia armory, and sometimes spring valley range on ODNR land. Some 22's out of under ground garage at home.
I would also like to have the metal version sometime with the 9mm and .41 cal barrels ,but this polymer version isn't bad either. I'm not sure which one is considered better if any IWI. or IMI? I guess that's another never ending debate.
And thanks cOnspire. That's what I was thinking too. Don't see too many Jericho's. guess that's why there's not alot of main stream accessories for them. I may need to have a good custom made holster for it? Or will some others work well with it?

Do a Google search for Jerico forums. I never did buy a holster for it, but I seem to recall there being a few threads about holsters on one of the dedicated Jericho forums out there. I'd send mine off for a custom kydex job personally!

=)

Jericho 941 Baby Eagle trade?

Thanks Jack, but if I was going to mess with that contraption, I would just use a rifle. Those are kind of pricey too. Nice concept though.
That is a good resource for parts. I picked up a used tri-layer cheap for a full sized, but was too narrow for the semi compact which is thicker

lot of Jerico users on the CZ forum. Might be some holster info there that you could use.

...I'm fairly sure you need an SBR tax stamp to add a shoulder stock to a handgun as well.

as a rule any Jericho can use the same stuff as a similar caliber CZ since they are essentially clones of the CZ 75. Very well made clones an often better than the original CZ but clones never the less

When you say CZ is that a certain model? My Jericho 941 is semi- compact.40 polymer.
