Ithaca 51 serial number
Well I walked into Cabela's with a buddy to see a gun he was interested in when lo and behold they had a used Ithaca 51 for $449.00 marked down to $249.00 and I got it for $200.00! Just seemed to call out to me as I walked by. Will take it to the range tomorrow and try it out.
The gun is definitely used but seems to be very solid and feels nice. I'll know more tomorrow after running some rounds through it. I looked on the Ithaca website and they do not have the serial number. Anyone know where I can find what year it was made? Serial number is 510007328. Thanks,

Sorry, I couldn't find a reference to the Model 51 in the Ithaca site's serial number reference; but, we know it was introduced in 1970 and production was suspended in 1987.

That serial number I believe is from the first year of production.
