Just made a deal for a Hi Standard Sportking Carbine
I've seen the rifles before, but this one is a Carbine + 18" barrel tubefeed under the barrel, Barrel band, a straight grip stock without a Monte Carlo comb - looks like an English-style shotgun, and it has a brass buttplate. Cant figure the "Gills machined into the left side of the receiver - 6 or 7 verticle slots opposite the ejection port = what for
Alltogether neat little carbine, looks like 60's manufacture. Anyone know of these? ... Or have one Haven't taken delivery yet or shot it, so I'm curious
