Help Identify when This Weaver Scope was Made
Hello trying to find out when this Weaver scope was made? It is a K4 but the elevation and windage adjustments are exposed. It is still clear and I shoot 1.5" groups with it and the Remington Model 14, .25 Rem cal rifle that it is mounted on.

It may be tough to pin down a date
It appears they started making the K4's in 1947 I would think with no turret caps yours is an earlier model http://www.americanrifleman.org/arti...weaver-scopes/

Early early 50s I'd guess
I've bought a few weavers recently, and I'm starting to learn about the differences in them.... But by far I'm no expert... Not a lot of info about the various models. Cruise eBay and look at the different weavers for sale out there, might give you a clue I've really come to like those old weavers. I'll probably have a collection of them filling a foot locker if I don't stop.
