I'm aware of it. I've reset the permissions, reset the variables, reindexed and updated all threads....no go. I emailed Spark and asked him to check the server to determine whether it may be a bad sector on the disk. Rich |

Got it! Damn, I'm good.
Spark- Apparently a file called "check.html" is created in some of the Forum directories (not all). The file contains one word: "closed" or "open". In the case of Legal it was "closed". I tried to force it to open thru the Control Panel, by closing and reopening the Forum. No joy, so I edited the file manually to read "open". That did it. Looks like a bug in the software.
