trouble finding key

for trigger lock on 870 express, its not on remingtons site or any stores in area

its an in built lock

Are you talking about an external trigger lock or the j-lock safety?

When you say it's built-in I assume you're talking about the J-lock on the safety. Personally, I would just replace the safety with a standard one. It's less than $10 worth of parts and about 5 minutes to do.

Mine came with two and I'll bet if you contact Remington, they will ship you one for nothing. It's a question of liability and in the past, I have found that gun manufactures are very receptive to requests like this.
