Steel Plate Matches

This is the 3rd year that our .22 club has started steel plate matches, and has been a winner since day one. We are a competitive rifle and pistol bullseye club, but the participation has really slowed down on that type of shooting. When we first started the plate matches, there was some doubt among members if it would pay for itself. It has taken off so fast, that we had to stop advertising about it, so that the shooters would get a lot of shooting in. Not only was it a money maker for the club, but we have increased our membership due to it.

If you have not tried this type of shooting, I recommend that you try it. It is addicting!
